It was created by the will of the Coldiretti National Confederation and the National College of Graduated Agro-technicians and Agro-technicians with the operational support of the Campagna Amica Foundation and Unaprol, the Italian Olive Consortium.
The Foundation aims to advance the olive sector through a cultural project that involves national and international partners from the world of business to that of research and institutions.
Its objectives are therefore: To train and qualify professionals capable of providing support to companies in the olive sector. Support the knowledge of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and olive growing through the creation of training courses and seminars of a higher and university nature. Promote knowledge and research relating to the important health benefits of EVO oil and table olives. Disseminating the knowledge of EVO oil and table olives to students, consumers, agricultural entrepreneurs, mill operators, large-scale retail purchasing managers, catering operators.
